MLC H.M. Revanna hopes to get into State Cabinet

August 21, 2017

Mysuru: Asserting that he has been recommended a Cabinet berth by Chief Minister Siddharamaiah and KPCC President Dr. G. Parameshwara, former Minister and MLC H.M. Revanna has said that however it is the Congress High Command which will ultimately decide his fate. Speaking to press persons after visiting Suttur Mutt here yesterday, Revanna said that he is closely associated with various Mutts such as Suttur Mutt, Adichunchanagiri Mutt and Siddaganga Mutt.

Claiming that he was a loyal Congress worker for decades, H.M. Revanna hoped that he would soon become a Minister in Siddharamaiah Cabinet.

Reacting sharply to BJP resorting to street protests over registration of FIR by the ACB against State BJP Chief B.S. Yeddyurappa in connection with alleged illegal land de-notification, the senior Congress leader said that no one can escape the clutches of law and Yeddyurappa was no exception. Everyone has to obey the Law of the land, he said. He ridiculed the BJP leaders for politicising the issue.
