MCC to conduct painting and artwork contests

Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), as part of Swachh Survekshan- 2024  assessment and to create awareness among students on segregation of waste at source and plastic ban, will be conducting a painting and artefacts from waste competitions at its Head Office on Sayyaji Rao Road on Sept. 21 from 8 am to 10 am.  Students of both government and private schools coming under MCC limits can take part. MCC has also announced a cash prize of Rs. 3,000, Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 1,000 for the first three winners respectively. MCC will be providing drawing sheets while all other materials must be brought by the students, according to a press release from  MCC Health Officer.
