Rotaract Club installed at Mahajana FGC

Mysuru: The Rotaract Club of Mahajana First Grade College (FGC) held its Installation Ceremony at Vivekananda Hall of Mahajana Education Society, Jayalakshmipuram, Mysuru, recently.

Dr. S.R. Ramesh, CEO & Academic Advisor, was the chief guest. Dr. K.A. Prahlad, Assistant Governor of RID 3181 Zone 7, was the guest of honour. Yashomathi Ravindranath, DRCC, RID 3181, was the Installing Officer.

M.S. Shashank Gowda, the outgoing President, handed over the reins to the newly elected President, Mohit Purohit.

The previous Secretary, J. Rakshitha, was succeeded by Arman Bilal as the new Secretary. Sanjana V. Shakhapur was appointed as the Vice-President and Abhay Muralidhar took on the role of Joint Secretary.

The installation was formally conducted by Yashomathi Ravindranath, who inducted the new office-bearers into their respective roles. In his address, the newly elected President, Mohit Purohit, outlined his vision for the upcoming year, focusing on initiatives aimed at community service, leadership development and fostering collaboration.

Rtn. R. Sanjay, District Rotaract Representative of RID 3181 (DRR), Dr. B.R. Jayakumari, Principal of SBRR Mahajana First Grade College and Club Teacher Convenor V. Gayathri praised the Club’s efforts and encouraged the members to continue making a positive impact on society.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by a networking session among the attendees. The Rotaract Club of Mahajana FGC has been actively involved in several community initiatives and looks forward to engaging in more impactful projects during the upcoming year.
