Mysuru: Elderly citizens took part with great enthusiasm in the Dasara Sports Competitions organised for senior citizens by the Women and Children Dasara Sub-Committee at J.K. Grounds on Monday.

Eighty senior citizens, including 50 men and 30 women, took part in the sports competitions with spirit and enthusiasm, which were held under three categories — 60 to 70 years,  70 to 80 years and Above 80 years.

The competitions included speed running, shot-put, musical chair and ball-in-the-bucket.

The winners of the competitions were distributed prizes. Also, all the participants were provided breakfast.
