Dasara crowd control: Kudos to Mysuru Police

October 10, 2024

Sir,

Hats off to the Mysuru Traffic Police for their exemplary control and monitoring of the Dasara crowd this year. A substantial contingent of officers has been deployed for traffic regulation, providing exceptional service to the public. Even in the rain, traffic cops are seen managing the flow while holding umbrellas. This year marks a historic first for Mysuru Dasara, showcasing such a large and active Police presence.

The movement of vehicles at all circles and junctions is carefully monitored and synchronised, minimising disruptions for both traffic and pedestrians.

However, despite the Police’s best efforts, some two-wheelers and three-wheelers continue to violate directives, causing minor traffic snarls.
