Snehamayi Krishna urges Mysuru Lokayukta SP to probe land deal based on fresh documents

Mysuru: The Khata transfer of land in Kesare, Mysuru, to J. Devaraju’s name by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) and the subsequent registration of a sale deed in the name of B.M. Mallikarjunaswamy (brother of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s wife B.M. Parvathi), allegedly facilitated by CM Siddaramaiah, is illegal, according to RTI activist Snehamayi Krishna.

Snehamayi Krishna’s complaint led the Mysuru Lokayukta Police to register an FIR against CM Siddaramaiah,  Parvathi, Mallikarjunaswamy and Devaraju.

Given the questionable nature of the land deal, Krishna has urged Lokayukta SP T.J. Udesh to interrogate Devaraju, who sold the land to Mallikarjunaswamy, based on the submitted documents. Krishna made this request via WhatsApp, attaching a copy of the Court order and stated that he recently obtained the relevant Court document.

According to the document, Devaraju had signed a settlement deed with Nagrathnamma, the heir of Puttamma, acknowledging that the IHR 8/92-93 order was incorrect and both parties had signed the deed. Based on this, the Court annulled  the said order.

However, despite the Court’s cancellation of the IHR 8/92-93 order, the land was transferred to Devaraju’s name by MUDA using that very order as the basis.

Following this, Devaraju registered a sale deed in Mallikarjunaswamy’s name, which is not legitimate, as argued by Snehamayi Krishna in his complaint.

Therefore, Krishna has requested the Lokayukta SP that Devaraju be investigated based on these documents, as stated in his complaint.
