Hubballi riots: BJP stages dharna, condemns withdrawal of criminal cases

Hundreds of party leaders and members of the Opposition BJP staged a massive demonstration at Freedom Park in Bengaluru this morning strongly condemning the State Government’s decision to withdraw criminal cases registered in connection with Hubballi riots. Opposition Leader R. Ashok, State BJP President B.Y. Vijayendra, Yelahanka MLA S.R. Vishwanath, former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. C.N. Aswathnarayan, Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Chalavadi Narayanaswamy and others led the demonstration.
