Mysuru: As Toastmasters International is celebrating 100 years of Integrity, Respect, Service and Excellence, Mysore Toastmasters has organised ‘Toastmasters Centenary Marathon’ on Oct. 27 (Sunday) from 6 am at SJCE in city.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday, organisation head L. Srihari said that this is not just a marathon but an event to encourage opportunities in health, harmony, personal achievements, community spirit and networking.

Pointing out that the organisation is working towards training youths to develop leadership qualities, Srihari said that students can become members of Toastmasters Club and avail the training.

The Marathon will be held in three categories: 3 km run for juniors (for both boys and girls in the age group of 13 to 17 years); 7 km run for seniors (for men and women in the age group of 18 to 44 years) and for veterans aged above 45 years.
