Palecanda Shambu Aiyappa (87), a resident of No. 3030, Gen. K.S. Thimayya Road in Vijayanagar  2nd Stage, passed away yesterday in city.

A native of Kadanoor village in Virajpet taluk, Kodagu, he leaves behind his wife Indu (Kuttanda), one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Mukthidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage here this afternoon.
