Mysuru: RTI activist Snehamayi Krishna has said that a complaint will be filed at the Nazarbad Police Station against the Mysuru Additional Superintendent of Police Nagesh who allegedly created false documents and provided misleading information.
Meenakshi, a resident of J.P. Nagar, was reportedly living in High School Teacher’s Colony in J.P. Nagar and had previously told the Police that one Yashwant Kumar had illegally trespassed into her home, demanding Rs. 8 lakh. Snehamayi Krishna stated that Meenakshi was preparing to file a complaint about this incident back in May this year.
“However, when Shekar, the Inspector of Mysuru Rural Police Station, refused to accept the complaint, I submitted the complaint to the District Rural Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) L. Nagesh. I also requested that the call details of the phone conversations between Inspector Shekar and Yashwant Kumar be included in the charge sheet,” he said.
Snehamayi Krishna has alleged that the charge sheet submitted to the Court does not include the call details between Inspector Shekar and Yashwant Kumar. He claimed that the Additional SP had written him a note on the file or acknowledgement dated Sept. 13, 2024.
“Despite frequent visits to his office, ASP delayed the response and a reply has been given now which is 46 days old. This is a deliberate attempt to protect Inspector Shekar,” alleged Snehamayi Krishna. He has warned of filing a complaint against ASP at Nazarbad Police Station.
