Expo of historical documents, photos

As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of renaming of Mysore State as Karnataka State (Suvarna Karnataka 50), the Karnataka State Archives Department, Divisional Archives Officer, Mysuru and the Kannada Department and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Mysore Makkala Koota and Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara (MMK&SDM) Women’s College, Mysuru, have jointly organised an exhibition of historical documents and photographs at the College premises in Krishnamurthypuram from Nov. 7 to 9.

Karnataka State Archives Department Director Dr. Gavisiddaiah will inaugurate the three-day the exhibition tomorrow at 10.30 am. College Principal Prof. N. Bharathi will preside. Retired Kannada Professor of Kuvempu Institute of Kannada Studies (KIKS) Dr. Preeti Shubhachandra and Divisional Archives Office-Mysuru Senior Assistant Director H.L. Manjunath will be the chief guests. MMK&SDM Girls PU College Principal Nayana Kumari, IQAC Convenor Prof. K.S. Sukrita and Kannada Department Head Dr. Vinoda will be present.
