Mysuru: City’s Delhi Public School (DPS) emerged champions in the District-level U-15 Inter-School Winter Football Cup – 2024 organised by Perfect Pass Fitness and Football Coaching Academy, Yaraganahalli, in association with Mysore District Football Association (MDFA), here recently.

In the finals, DPS (Mysuru) defeated Kendriya Vidyalaya while De Paul Public School defeated JSS Public School, Mysuru to secure the third place. A total of 10 teams from Mysuru including JSS Public School, Delhi Public School, Learners Global School, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Vidya Vikas, Kendriya Vidyalaya, JSS Public School, JSS Public School (Teachers Layout), DPS Juniors and De Paul Public School took part.

Prizes to the winners were distributed by MDFA Secretary L. Manjunath during the valedictory ceremony.  The winning teams were accompanied by their coaches Manjunath, Sanjeev, Adarsh Unni, Jabir and Chadan.

Individual Awards

Best Player: Niranjan (Learners Global School); Rising Star: Shibily Hassan (Delhi Public School); Best Goalkeeper: Sudanva Bharadwaj (JSS Public School); Best Player of the Tournament: Karthik  (Kendriya Vidyalaya); Best Defender: C. Shreyas (Delhi Public School) and  Best Goal Scorer: Suhas (De Paul Public School).
