Kannambira Poovamma (Palengada), wife of late Nanaiah and a resident of Poovi Farm at Hemmanahalli, MK Halli Post, Mysuru, passed away this morning. She was 81.

She leaves behind her son Somaiah, daughter Geetha, daughter-in-law Neetha Kushalappa and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Muktidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage this afternoon.
