Three burglars arrested

Stolen items worth Rs. 3.20 lakh recovered

Mysuru: In separate cases, Krishnaraja and Jayalakshmipuram Police have arrested three burglars and have recovered gold jewellery, one two-wheeler and household items worth Rs. 3.20 lakh  from them.

In the first case, Krishnaraja Police have arrested a man accused of committing burglary at a house on Ramanuja Road 18th Cross on Nov. 22 and have recovered 26 grams gold jewellery and a scooter, which he had lifted from Konanakunte Police limits in Bengaluru, all worth                                                            Rs. 2.35 lakh from him. The accused was arrested near CADA Office on Nov. 29.

DCP (Crime and Traffic) S. Jahnavi and Krishnaraja Sub-Division ACP H.B. Rameshkumar guided Krishnaraja Inspector Mohit Sahadev, Sub-Inspector Lakkappa H. Kukkadi and staff Nataraju, Muqhadar Shariff, Karthik Kumar, Prasad, Savitha, Ashivini and Technical Wing’s Kumar in the nabbing and recovery operation.

In the second case, Jayalakshmipuram Police, on Nov. 29, have arrested two persons, who were carrying stolen furniture in an auto to sell them and have recovered one TV, fridge and furniture, all worth Rs. 85,000 from them besides seizing the auto.

The two accused had stolen the above household items from a house on the 8th Main,                          3rd Block in Jayalakshmipuram on Nov. 27.

Smitha, ASI Rajugowda and staff Abhishek Benjamin, M.D. Ravi, Somanna, Sampath Kumar, Sachin, M.B. Kumar and Technical Wing’s Kumar in the nabbing and  recovery operation.
