National Swimming: Wins 3 bronze

Mysuru: Subrahmanya Jeevamsh, 8th std. student at DAV School in city, has won three bronze medals in 68th National Swimming Competition organised by School Games Federation of India from Nov. 24 to 30 at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Swimming Pool in Rajkot, Gujarat. In U-14 category, he won bronze medals in  100 mts  butterfly (1:04.88 sec), 200 mts butterfly (2:20.01 sec) and 200 mts individual medley (2.28.64 sec).

He is the son of M.S. Manjunath and Lakshmi, residents of J.P. Nagar, Mysuru.
