Winners of Carol Singing Competition

Mysuru: St. Joseph’s Central School, Vijayanagar, Mysuru, bagged Champions Trophy in the 32nd Carol Singing Competition, organised by Carmel Catholic Association, Mysuru, at Maharaja’s College Centenary Hall in city on Sunday.

Competitions were held in 12 categories and the first three prize winners in each category are as follows:

Kindergarten: 1. Christ Public School; 2. NPS School, Vijayanagar and 3. St. Joseph’s Nursery School, Jayalakshmipuram.

Standard 1 to 4: St. Arnolds Central School, Sathagalli; 2. NPS School, Vijayanagar and 3. St. Joseph’s Central School, Vijayanagar.

Standard 5 to 7 (English): 1. Good Shepherd Higher Primary School, Lashkar Mohalla; 2. St. Joseph’s Central School, Vijayanagar and 3. St. Joseph’s School, Jayalakshmipuram.

Standard 5 to 7 (Kannada & other regional languages): 1. St. Joseph’s Central School, Vijayanagar; 2. Capitol Public School, Saraswathipuram and 3. Presentation Public School.

Standard 8 to 10 (English): 1. St. Maria De Mattias School, Srirampura; 2. St. Joseph’s Central School, Vijayanagar and 3. Good Shephered High School, Lashkar Mohalla.

Standard 8 to 10 (Kannada & other regional languages): 1. Presentation Public School, Rammanahalli; 2. Ideal Jawa Rotary School, JLB Road and 3. St. Joseph’s Central School, Vijayanagar.

PU Colleges (English, Kannada & other regional languages): 1. St. Philomena’s PU College, Bannimantap (Kannada); St. Philomena’s PU College (English) and 3. Teresian PU College, Siddarthanagar.

Under Graduate and Post Graduate (English): 1. Krupalaya Institute of Philosophy; 2. Pushpashrama and 3. St. Joseph’s First Grade College.

Under Graduate and Post Graduate (Kannada & other regional languages): 1. Krupalaya Institute of Philosophy and 2. Pushpashrama.

Churches and Parishes (English): 1. CSI St. Bartholomew’s Church; 2. Sacred Heart Church, Yadavagiri and 3. St. John Paul Church, Old Kesare.

Churches and Parishes (Kannada & other regional languages): 1. Virgin of the Poor Church, Bannimantap; 2. St. Teresa of Calcutta Church, Rajivnagar and 3. Infant Jesus Church, Pushpagiri.

Professionals (English, Kannada & other regional languages): 1. Euphrasian Symphony, Lashkar Mohalla; St. Joseph’s, Bannimantap and 3. St. Teresa of Calcutta, Rajivnagar.

Prizes were distributed by the dignitaries during the valedictory ceremony held in the evening.
