Miraculous escape for five as SUV turns turtle on highway

Srirangapatna: A SUV turned turtle after reportedly ramming into a divider near Ganangur here on Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway, on Friday. Fortunately, five people including an eight-year-old child had a miraculous escape in the incident.

Vikram, a resident of Bengaluru had been to Mysuru along with his family that included his wife, child, mother and grandmother. They were returning to Bengaluru, when the driver lost control over the steering and allegedly hit the road divider on the left side of the highway, before toppling on the road. Those travelling in the car sustained minor injuries.

The Highway Patrol Police rushed to the spot and cleared the mangled vehicle, as the accident had resulted in a traffic jam.

Srirangapatna Rural Police have registered a case.
