CBSE pattern from 6th to 10th std. in Science and Maths: Minister

Belagavi: In a decision that would help students following State syllabus to be at par with Central syllabus, the State Government has implemented the CBSE pattern in 6th to 10th standards in respect of Science and Maths subjects.

Replying to a question by MLC M.L. Anilkumar in the Legislative Council at the ongoing winter session at Belagavi yesterday, Minister for School Education and Literacy Madhu Bangarappa said CBSE syllabus has been followed in toto in Science and Maths.

The Government is paying fee for RTE students (1st to 8th), he  said and clarified there was no proposal on extending it to II PU.
