MLA inaugurates new prayer hall at Muslim Burial Grounds

Mysuru: The new prayer hall to perform Namaz-e-Janaza of the dead was inaugurated by Narasimharaja MLA Tanveer Sait at the Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle in city recently.

Duwa (Supplication) was read by Hazarath Moulana Mufti Tajuddin, Hon. Khateeb of Masjid Ya Allaha, Hazarath Moulana Mohammed Anwar Ahmed Nizami, Hon. Secretary of AET and Hazarath Moulana Mohammed Ali Razvi, Hon. Imam of Jafary Masjid on Akbar Road.

MLA Tanveer Sait, former Corporator Suhail Baig and Thafuz-e-Khabrasthan Committee were briefed about the yeomen service rendered by the Management Committee in burial ground.

Facilities available are: Prayer Hall, Ablution (Wadu) hall, bathroom, freezer box, electricity, water, toilet and also a hearse (van) for shifting the body from house to Masjid and to the burial ground.

MCC Commissioner Ashaad-Ur-Rahman Shariff presented Appreciation Certificate to Zubair, Musheer, Secretary, Management Committee of Zeenath-ul-Masjid on 100 Feet Road and other five persons.

Thafuz-e-Khabrasthan Committee Secretary Qurath Ali Khan, Prof. Shakeeb-ur-Rehaman of Mysore Muslim Hostel, Saraswathipuram, Arif Mehkri, Tanzeem Ahle Sunnath-wo-Jamath Secretary Jameel Ahmed Ashrafi, Syed Younus, wrestler Azeez Pathan, Zaheer-ul-Haq, Advocate Mudasir Ali Khan, former MUDA members Hussani Baig Babu and Anwar Pasha, Mumtaz Ahmed, Azeez Sait Block Congress Committee President Syed Iqbal, Secretary Waseem, Shabnam Sayeed, Fiyaz, Naseeruddin Babu, Abbas, Omer, Secretary of KPCC Minority Department Syed Farooq, DCC Minority Department former President Elyas Ahmed Babu, Spokesperson Mirza Jamsheed Baig Ashrafi and others were present.
