‘Skin health crucial for all’

City Dermatologist Dr. H. Hanumanthappa’s Kannada book ‘Charmada Kayilegalu mattu Samrakshane’ released

Mysuru: MLC Dr. D. Thimmaiah released a Kannada book titled ‘Charmada Kayilegalu mattu Samrakshane,’ authored by renowned city Dermatologist Dr. H. Hanumanthappa, at a function held at Ideal Jawa Rotary School premises on JLB Road in city on Sunday.

Speaking after releasing the book, Dr. Thimmaiah said, “Skin is an important component of human body and it is impossible to imagine how a human would have looked without skin. Hence, it is very important to protect our skin by taking proper care of its health. Health of the skin is very important to us to look beautiful.”

“Dr. Hanumanthappa worked as Dean of the College where he had his Medical education. He has provided many valuable information about skin diseases in his book. By sharing his knowledge to the public, Dr. Hanumanthappa is offering his services to the society. Let his pro-society works continue,” added the MLC.

He concluded by saying that healthy skin is a must to lead a healthy life. People should drink more water to keep their skin healthy and cultivate good habits.

Meritorious students were presented with Pratibha Puraskar at the function.

Retired Dy.SP and writer J.B. Rangaswamy, retired Director of Health and Family Welfare Department Dr. G.M. Vamadeva, District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal, Chutuku Sahitya Parishat Founder Dr. MGR Urs, Book’s Editor Dr. Kavitha Hanumanthappa and others were present at the book release event.
