MCC appoints 4 achievers as Swachhata Ambassadors

Mysuru: To regain the ‘Cleanest City’ tag, the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has appointed four achievers from different fields as its Swachhata Ambassadors ahead of Swachh Survekshan, that is set to commence on Feb. 15.

The Swachhata Ambassadors are Dr. Usha Hegde, the first Mysurean to summit Mt. Everest; B. Chaithra, International Kho Kho champ from Kuruburu in Mysuru district; Amrutha Iyengar, Cine Actress and Dharmendra Kumar, Social Media Influencer.

The appointment was made at a meeting held at the MCC Office this afternoon, during which the following Swachhata Champions were felicitated: Leela Venkatesh, Dr. P.S. Madhusudhan, Dr. Ajay Kumar Jain, Dr. Swapna, N. Raghavan, Syed Abdul Azeez and Amoolya.
