Karnataka Urdu Academy confers Special Awards

Mysuru: Momina Mukhtar, President of Faizan e Urdu Adab – Urdu Literary Association, who is also a retired Senior Lecturer and Nyamathulla Khan, Member of the Association, from Mysuru, were conferred with Special Awards (2024-25) given by Karnataka Urdu Academy, Bengaluru, at a ceremony held recently at KMDC Bhavan.

Retd. Principal and son of late Mohammed Ebrahim Khan of Malavalli, Nyamathulla Khan is engaged in teaching and organising Urdu classes run by Idara e Adbiyat Urdu, Hyderabad, through Abid Ali Khan Trust (Daily Siasat) from 2008. Naseer Ahmed, Special Adviser to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Balqees Bano, MLC, Nisar Ahmed, Chairman, Minorities Commission, Qazi Mohammed Ali, Chairman, Karnataka Urdu Academy, were present at the award ceremony.
