Gowramma B. Shivanna (86), a resident of Dodda Vokkalageri near Irwin Road, passed away following age-related illness yesterday in city.

She leaves behind two sons including journalist and writer S. Prakash Babu, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill today.
