Mysuru: Ganabharathi, Mysuru, has organised the following two independent music concerts under Taruna Bharati programme to encourage young and upcoming artistes tomorrow (Apr. 24) at Veene Seshanna Bhavana in Kuvempunagar:
6 pm to 7.15 pm: Flute concert by Shreya Bharath; 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm: Vocal concert by Suhas Murali. They will be accompanied by Vid. Tumkur Yashasvi on violin and Vid. Shubang Samaga on mridanga.
Shreya is daughter of Vidya Bharath and Dr. Bharath, A 10th std. student, Shreya has shown interest in flute at an early age and presently is the student of Vid. J.A. Jayanth of Chennai. She has won prizes in competition conducted by Sun Academy, HCL Karnataka Quest and many more. She has given solo performances at Chennai Rasika Ranjani Sabha, Rama Mandira etc. She has also performed with her Guru in Krishna Ganasabha, Puttaparthi, ISKON and other platforms.
Suhas is a student of 3rd year Computer Science Engineer and son of Kavita and Murali Srinivasan. Suhas learnt Karnatak music from Vidu. Bhamini Nagaraj and is pursuing advanced music from Vid. Ramakrishna Murthy and doing Vidwat in Karnatak classical music. He has also learnt keyboard, flute and western music. He is the recipient of scholarship of Karnataka Sangeeta Nrithya Academy and is a B grade artiste of AIR.
