M. Sowndarya has been awarded Ph.D in Earth Science by the University of Mysore (UoM) for her thesis ‘Geohydrological investigations on Yagachi Watershed Area, Karnataka, India, Using Remote Sensing and GIS.’ [Guide: Dr. M.R. Janardhana]

Y.N. Mahadeva Prasad has been awarded Ph.D in Computer Science by the UoM for his thesis ‘Machine Learning Techniques for Printed Kannada Text Recognition in Scene Images.’ [Guide: Dr. H.K. Chethan]
