Pailwan Puttaswamy (92), a Ustad of the British era and a resident of Ashokapuram, passed away here yesterday.

He leaves behind five sons, seven daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at Ashokapuram Burial Grounds yesterday, according to family sources.
