Mysuru: Marking the 93rd birthday of retired Engineer and Elder Citizens Council and Trust  President S.V. Gowdappa, the Elder Citizens Council, Mysuru, will confer ‘S.V. Gowdappa Award’ at a programme organised under the joint aegis of the Trust, Elder Citizens Council and Krishik Sarvodaya Foundation at Saraswathi Samudaya Bhavan, Hospital Road,  Jayalakshmipuram at 10.30 am on June 1.

Announcing this at a press meet here, Elder Citizens Council President Dr. H.M. Nagaraj said that NHAI (National Highways Authority of India) Superintending Engineer B.T. Sridhar and progressive farmer of Basavanahalli in Periyapatna taluk B.A. Prakash will be conferred ‘S.V. Gowdappa Award’ on the occasion. Former KPSC Chairman and Krishik Sarvodaya Foundation President Y.K. Puttasomegowda will inaugurate the programme, while former Cauvery Neeravari Nigam Limited (CNNL) Managing Director T. Thimmegowda will be the chief guest, Nagaraj said. 

Elder Citizens Council and Trust Secretary N.K. Ramachandragowda, Elder Citizens Council Secretary K.S. Krishna and Krishik Sarvodaya Foundation’s  H. Kishorechandra  were present.
