Nanjangud Srikanteshwaraswamy temple records Rs.1.5 crore Hundi collection

Nanjangud; The famed Srikanteshwaraswamy temple at Nanjangud recorded a Hundi collection of over Rs.1.5 crore in cash, besides Jewellery.

The counting of temple Hundis was taken up at Temple’s Dasoha Bhavan on Friday, during which Rs. 1,50,56,223 was found in cash, 114 gram of  Gold Jewellery, 2 kg of silver  articles and 53 foreign currencies. The counting was done by more than 100 members of Women Self-Help Groups, Canara Bank staff and Temple Staff. Temple EO Jagadish Kumar, AEO Satish, accountant Gurumallaiah, Talakad Temple EO Venkatesh Prasad were present.
