The 249th annual Sandal Urus Shariff celebrations of Hazarath Nawab Hyder Ali Khan Bahadur, organised by Hazarath Tipu Sultan Urus & Welfare Committee, Tipu Hall, Meena Bazar, Sawday Road in Lashkar Mohalla will be held tomorrow (June 26) at 3 pm at Masjid Aala, Srirangapatna. Hazarath Tipu Sultan Wakf Estate Committee Chairman and MLA Tanveer Sait and Committee office-bearers have organised Sandal Procession from Masjid Ala till Tipu Tomb at Ganjam, Srirangapatna. Mysuru Urus delegates will join the Urus procession and will reach Tipu Tomb to perform Fatha Khawni, Darud Salam, spreading of flower mat, in the presence of MLA Tanveer Sait, Sir Qazi of Mysore Hazarath Moulana Mohammed Usman Shariff, Hazarath Mohammed Inayath-ur-Rehaman Razvi, Shahi Imam of Tipu Tomb, other Ulmas and Wakf Estate staff among others.
