Mysuru, June 29- A demon-stration and workshop on bonsai landscapes is being organised under the auspices of Srushti Bonsai Study Circle, Mysuru, on July 4. Saumik Das, renowned bonsai artist from Delhi, has been invited to hold the demonstration, for the first time in Mysuru.

Profile: Saumik Das has been practicing the art of bonsai over the last twenty years and has conducted demonstrations and workshops both in India and abroad. He has mentored more than 600 students in the art of bonsai. The Grow Green Bonsai Farm that he has created in Delhi is a hub for all nature lovers and bonsai enthusiasts. He has introduced the concept of vertical penjing as well as stone structures of ancient structures in India. His bonsai landscape creations has inspirations from nature as well as out-of-the-box imagination.
