Mysore/Mysuru: Acharya Vidya Kula (AVK), Mysuru, hosted the First Zonal-level Yoga competition for the CISCE affiliated Schools recently.

CISCE Schools from Kodagu and Mysuru Zone participated in the competition. Yoga Guru Dr. P.N Ganesh Kumar was the guest of honour. H.K. Geetha Kumar, S. Kiran,  Rama R. Kedlaya and B.N. Premkumar were the jury members of the competition.

The event was conducted as per the rules laid by CISCE and organised under the guidance of the Zonal Coordinator-Kodagu and Mysuru Zone, the Principal and the Yoga Instructor of Acharya Vidya Kula.

AVK also celebrated the International Day of Yoga on June 21. Students performed the asanas as per the protocol of the Day under the guidance of the Yoga Instructor, according to AVK Principal Nalini Nanaiah.
