Mysuru: Melukote MLA Darshan Puttannaiah inaugurated the six-day Yonex-Sunrise Karnataka State Ranking U-15 and U-17 Badminton Tournament being organised by Mysore District Badminton Association under the aegis of Karnataka Badminton Association at Health City Badminton Courts located at Kanakadasanagar, here this morning.

About 900 participants from across the State are taking part in the tournament. Out of the six days, qualification rounds will be held for the first three days followed by the main draw.

Karnataka Exhibition Authority former Chairman B.P. Manjunath, Karnataka Badminton Association Vice-President S.G. Prabhu, Mysore District Badminton Association Joint Secretary Jyothi and Tournament Director Vasanth Kumar were present on the occasion.
