Sri Jayachamaraja Vaibhava  at Ganabharathi on July 19

Kalasourabha Music School, has organised ‘Sri Jayachamaraja Vaibhava’ — an evening of music, dance and discourse — a cultural tribute in memory of the late Mysore Maharaja Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar tomorrow (July 19) from 5 pm onwards at Ganabharathi in Kuvempunagar. The evening will begin with an invocation by the students of Kalasourabha, followed by a classical dance performance by Vidu. Ashwini Sukeerthi and Vidu. Swathi Kiran.

This will be followed by a vocal concert by Vidu. Dr. Sukanya Prabhakar and Vidu. Dr. Sumana Vedant. They will be accompanied by Vid. B.K. Raghu on violin, Vid. Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma on mridanga and Vid. G.S. Ramanujam on ghata. At 8 pm, a discourse will be delivered by H. L. Chandrashekhar, a renowned philosopher.  This programme is open to all, according to a press release from Vidu. M. Meera.
