Bogaiah (85), the Guddappa of Kargalamma temple at Sarkari Uttanahalli in Mysuru taluk, passed away here on Friday.

A resident of Yeligehundi near Uttanahalli, he leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the burial ground in his native village this afternoon, according to family sources.
