As part of Dasara celebrations, the Mysuru Photo Journalists Association has invited entries from Press Photographers for the State-level Best Photo-Journalist Award. Photographers working  with State, Regional, District and local-level newspapers as well as amateur photographers associated with newspapers can send entries. There will be three prizes, with the first prize carrying a cash reward of Rs. 25,000, second prize- Rs.15,000 and third prize – Rs.10,000.

The interested photographers can send entries along with a copy of the ID card issued by the newspaper which they are working for. The entries should be accompanied by the News-Photograph taken between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2025  and should be sent to the Association  using the link — https://forms.gle/4HKyzZX5136io3ZK7.
