Ponjanda Neelamma (Rani – Shantheyanda), wife of Ponjanda S. Arjun and a resident of Srirampura 2nd Stage here, passed away yesterday in city.  She was 81.

She leaves behind her husband, sons Ponjanda A. Ganapathy (President of Kodava Samaja Mysuru) and Girish, daughter Nellira Kavitha and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.
