Nadaswara recital marks Ganesha Festival at 8th Cross

Formal inauguration of Heritage Music Fest this evening

Vid. Melukote Nagesh presenting a Nadaswara recital at 8th Cross Ganesha Pandal in V.V. Mohalla last evening as part of the 64th Heritage Music Festival, organised by Sri Prasanna Vidya Ganapathi Mandali Charitable (SPVGMC) Trust, Mysuru. He is accompanied by Vid. Keshav Mohankumar on violin, Vid. B.S. Prashanth on mridanga and Vid. Sharath Koushik on ghata. The Festival will be formally inaugurated today (Aug. 28) at 6 pm by entrepreneur Capt. G.R. Gopinath in the presence of Industrialist & SPVGMC Trust President M. Jagannath Shenoy. It will be followed by a vocal concert by Vid. T.M. Krishna with Vidu. Akkarai Subhalakshmi on violin, Vid. Jayachandra Rao on mridanga and Vid. Chandrashekar Sharma on ghata.
