Mass immersion of idols on Aug. 31

The grand procession and mass immersion of Ganesha idols installed at various places across the city will  be held under the banner of Mysuru Sarvajanika Ganesha Visarjana Samithi on Aug. 31.  The decorated vehicles carrying the idols will assemble at Veeraganapathi Temple in Veeranagere and the mammoth procession of the idols will begin at 1 pm. The procession will pass via Ashoka Road, Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple and D. Devaraj Urs Road to reach Srirangapatna, where the idols of Lord Ganesha will be immersed.
