Congress to take out Dharmasthala Yatra tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: The Chamaraja Constituency Congress Committee will take out a Dharmasthala Yatra tomorrow (Sept. 3) in condemnation of the attempts to malign Dharmasthala shrine and in support of Dharmadhikari Dr. Veerendra Heggade.

Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Committee President Ravi Manchegowdanakoppal said that Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda will launch the Yatra at Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at the Palace North Gate tomorrow at 7 am, in which  Congress party workers will travel in about 30 buses to Dharmasthala. After staying overnight at Dharmasthala, the party workers will take out a ‘Shanti Yatra’ (Peace March) in support of the Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari at 8.30 am on Sept. 4, following which they will return to Mysuru, Ravi said.

Committee office-bearers Ramesh Rayappa, Yogesh, Anantanarayan and Ramachandra were present at the press meet.
