I am a resident of Yadavagiri and would like to draw attention to the poor condition of an arterial road — Paramahamsa Road, Yadavagiri. This crucial stretch connects KRS Road to Bamboo Bazaar and beyond.

Currently, the road is riddled with large potholes in at least four sections of the carriageway (see photo). The recent rains have further worsened the situation, making it extremely difficult for vehicles to navigate.

Due to these potholes, vehicles heading towards Bamboo Bazaar are forced to drive on the wrong side of the road — the right-hand side — creating a hazardous traffic situation. This poses a serious risk of accidents, similar to the recent fatal mishap in Vivekanandanagar where a senior citizen was killed.

I earnestly request the MCC and Traffic Police authorities concerned to inspect the spot and take immediate remedial action, well before the Dasara festivities begin, to ensure the safety of all commuters.
