Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens (Mysuru Zoo) is organising Wildlife Photography competition and exhibition as part of Wildlife Week celebrations from Oct. 2 to 8.

The competition will be held in two categories — ex-situ conservation (zoo category) and in-situ (wildlife category) conservation. Each category consists of 2 cash awards and 3 Certificate of Merit. For each section 2 photographs can be submitted.

Photographs which have previously won awards in similar competition will not be considered.

The photo must be in its original state and cannot be altered in any way like removing, adding, reversing or distorting the subject within the frame.

The winners will be contacted via the e-mail address provided during the entry. Award-winning photographs of the contest will be displayed as per the convenience of Mysuru Zoo.

Interested candidates can submit their photographs at the Zoo Office between Sept.8 and Sept. 18, during office hours (10 am to 5 pm). The final date for submission is Sept.18. For further details or clarifications, visit: www.mvsuruzoo.info.
