Vishwakarma Jayanti will be celebrated by Kannada and Culture Department in association with MCC and Mysuru Vishwakarma Jayantyotsava Samiti at Kalamandira on Hunsur Road tomorrow (Sept.17) at 12 noon. Hassan District’s Aremadanahalli Vishwakarma Mutt Seer Sri Shivasugnanateertha Swamiji will grace the occasion. Mysuru-based writer B.N. Nataraj (Kumara Ravi) will deliver the keynote address.

Ahead of the event, a grand procession will be taken out from Sri Kalikamba temple on Irwin Road at 9 am. The procession will pass through K.T. Street, Ashoka Road, Big Clock Tower, Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple at the Palace North Gate, K.R. Circle, D. Devaraj Urs Road, JLB Road and Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa circle (Hotel Metropole Circle), before reaching Kalamandira on Hunsur Road, the venue of the stage programme, according to a press release.
