Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Namma Mysuru Swachha Mysuru,’ a jatha to spread the message of cleanliness through a vehicle rally during Mysuru Dasara, has been organised by Chamundi Zone of Rotary International District-3181 in the city tomorrow (Sept. 20).

Rotaractor P. Welkin Sheleph told media persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan in the city yesterday that with Dasara in the offing, the possibilities of littering waste in public places are more, which comes as a hurdle in keeping the city clean during the annual festival.

The jatha will be taken out from Ideal Jawa Rotary School near Mysuru Development Authority (MDA), previously MUDA, on JLB Road in the city at 8 am.

Rotary District Governor Rtn. P.K. Ramakrishna will flag off the jatha, that may see the participation of 150 two-wheeler riders including women from Mysuru Ladies Team.

Charitha Gowda, Shakunthala Elizabeth, Yashwanth and Gowtham were present.
