Darshan for devotees from Oct. 10 to 22
Hassan: The doors of the famous Hasanamba Temple in the town will be opened on Oct. 9 at 12.30 pm.
The temple of Goddess Hasanamba, which is traditionally opened only once in a year for devotees to have a darshan of the Goddess, will be open from Oct. 9 to 23 this year. Though the temple will be open for a total of 15 days, it will be open for devotees only for 13 days from Oct. 10 to 22.
The temple will be open all 24 hours of the day, barring puja hours, to facilitate the devotees to have ‘Darshan’ of the deity, according to the Hassan District Administration.
The District Administration is making elaborate preparations for the smooth conduct of the Hasanamba Darshanotsava by providing barricades to ensure smooth darshan for the devotes. It is erecting German tents, installing CCTV cameras, making other essential arrangements like lightings, keeping temple surroundings clean and tidy, ensuring safety of devotees, temporary toilets, drinking water, emergency medical services and for seamless traffic system.
The District Administration is also making arrangements to provide accommodation to devotees who come from distant places.
