‘Dasara Yuva Pratibha Award’ conferred on Kalemane Sisters

Kalemane Sisters — K.M. Lekha and K.M. Nidhi — both acclaimed young dance exponents were conferred with State-level Savigannada Cultural Award ‘Dasara Yuva Pratibha Award 2025’ by Savigannada Patrika during ‘Kavya Dasara Poets Conference’ organised by Hoysala Kannada Sangha and Savigannada Patrika Balaga, Mysuru, in memory of late B.R. Nagalata. Lekha and Nidhi are the daughters of Karnataka Kalashree Dr. K. Kumar, Founder-Director of Kumar Performing Arts Centre (KPAC), Mysuru and Dr. G. Malathi, Senior Paediatrician.
