October 14, 2025

Mysore/Mysuru: M. Pranati (6th grade) and Anagha N. Urs (9th grade), students of Edu Care Painting Classes, showcased their acrylic paintings and pencil sketches at Kala Jatre-2025, an art exhibition organised by the Dasara Fine Arts and Crafts Sub-Committee in collaboration with the CAVA Alumni Association.

Being among the youngest participants, the budding artists thanked the organisers for the opportunity to present their work at the event and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their mentor Shivakumar, for nurturing their creativity and passion  for fine arts.

The day-long Kala Jatre, held at Chamarajendra Government College of Visual Arts (CAVA), Siddarthanagar in the city, brought together hundreds of artists from diverse backgrounds, displaying a vibrant mix of paintings, sculptures, installations and mixed-media works, celebrating both tradition and innovation.
