Documentary on Basavanna

Akhila Bharata Sharana Sahitya Parishat and Kalpa Heritage Trust have jointly organised the screening of documentary ‘Yugapurusha Basavanna’ at Silver Jubilee Hall, JSS Law College, New Kantharaj Urs Road, Kuvempunagar, on Oct. 17 at 6 pm. Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will be present at the screening.

The Documentary on the 12th Century Social Reformer Basavanna has won many awards at various Film Festivals and contains soulfully sung Vachanas. The Documentary was produced by Kalpa Heritage Trust of Mysuru and Directed by its Trustee, Dr. V.R. Anil Kumar. The event is open to all, according to Parishat Vice-President M. Chinnaswamy.
