Mysuru, Oct. 23 (SPN&BS)- DCP (Law and Order) R.N. Bindu Mani has warned rowdy-sheeters of stringent action, if they resort to do reels and post provocative contents portraying crime on social media.

DCP Bindu Mani issued the warning during the Rowdy Parade of hundreds of history sheeters held at Lakshmipuram, Ashokapuram, Kuvempunagar, Vidyaranyapuram and Krishnaraja Police Stations, falling under the purview of Krishnaraja (KR) Sub-Division.

The rowdy-sheeters were warned against resuming activities disrupting the law and order and triggering scare at public places. Once a rowdy-sheet is opened, the suspects have to face a series of crisis that affects his family members too. It is better to ask those persons who have been on the rowdy-list for the past 25 to 30 years. By taking part in criminal activities, the accused have to lose peace in life, besides pushing their dependents to streets. Keeping all these in mind, the rowdy-sheeters should refrain from taking part in any illicit activities and lead a life of content, advised DCP Bindu Mani.

“If any of the rowdy-sheeters are found to be having link with any present cases being reported in five Police Stations of Krishnaraja Sub-Division, they have to be ready to face externment,” warned Bindu Mani.

Sundar Raj, KR Sub-Division ACP Ramesh Kumar, Vidyaranyapuram Police Inspector Yogananjappa, Ashokapuram Police Inspector Rohit, Kuvempunagar Police Inspector Yogesh, Lakshmipuram Police Inspector Ravishankar and KR Police Inspector Dhanraj, staff of Anti-Rowdy Squad, City Crime Branch (CCB) and Commando wing were present.
