Mysuru, Oct. 23- Vid. Pranav Kikkeri, a child prodigy from Texas, US and an established vocalist now, will be presenting a vocal concert at the residence of Mysore Vasudevacharya, near Agrahara, in city on Sunday (Oct. 26).
He will be accompanied by Vidu. Prithvi Bhaskar on violin, Vid. G.S. Ramanujam on mridanga and Vid. V.S. Ramesh on morching. The concert, scheduled to start at 10.30 am, is open to all.

Born into a family of musicians, Pranav started identifying ragas at the tender age of two. Identifying his talent, his parents put him under the tutelage of one of the greatest gurus Sangeetha Samrat Chitravina N. Ravikiran, at the age of 3. With his Guru’s blessings and training, Pranav fast picked up the art and gave his first full concert and won his first competition at the renowned Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, at the age of five.
Endowed with a mellifluous voice, knowledge and Swara jnanam beyond his age, Pranav has deservedly won applause and appreciation from doyens in music. At the age of seven, Pranav discovered a new raga, which has been named ‘Pranavaswaroopini’ by his guru.
He actively performs across the US and in India at various prestigious Sabhas and institutions. He regularly attends and performs in Chennai’s Margazhi Season. He has been honoured with many titles, including ‘Junior Idol’ and ‘Bala Samrat.’
Young Prithvi, daughter of Vid. H.N. Bhaskar, has been trained by her father and grandparents Vidu. Rajalakshmi and Vid. H.K. Narasimhamurthy (HKN). A graded artiste of Akashvani, she has performed many vocal and violin concerts and has accompanied senior artistes too.
Vid. Ramanujam and Vid. Ramesh, both from the famed PGL school, are senior percussionists with decades of stage experience.
