Mysuru, Oct. 27- Kannada Habba, the presentation of Kannada Rajyotsava Awards to achievers and a music programme will be held on Nov. 2 at 4 pm at Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, jointly organised by Karnataka Sugama Sangeetha Parishat, Mysuru Unit and Sri Anantheshwara Trust.

MLC Dr. D. Thimmaiah will inaugurate the event. Department of Kannada & Culture Assistant Director Dr. M.D. Sudarshan will present the awards. Karnataka Sugama Sangeetha Parishat Mysuru Unit President Dr. Nagaraj V. Bairy will preside. Mysuru District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal will hoist the Kannada Flag.

Journalist Amshi Prasanna Kumar will felicitate the singers. Writers Jayappa Honnali and journalist S.T. Ravikumar (RK) will deliver felicitation address.

Senior writer Dr. C.P. Krishnakumar (CPK) will be honoured for lifetime achievement. KIKS Director Prof. N.K. Lolakshi, singer Dr. A.D. Srinivasan and tablist Indu Shekhar will be presented with the Kannada Rajyotsava Awards.

Singers Dr. A.D. Srinivasan, Indrani Anantharam, Rashmi Chikkamagaluru, Rajesh Padiyar, N. Bettegowda, Shridhar, Dr. Y.D. Rajanna, Ravi Raj Hasu, Kavitha Kamath, Poornima, Shrilatha, C.S. Vani, Abdul Khayyam, Nagendra, Vedashree, Sujatha Jayakumar, Vani Shree, A.M. Suresh, Shubha Pallavi, Shashikala Anantharam, Spoorthi, Sheela Gurudutt, Sinchana Hunasuru, C. Ramesh, Sugandhamma Jayappa, Sumithra, Maanvi U.S. Achar, Charvi Satish, P. Maanyatha, Upasana and others will sing.

Instrumentalists Ganesh Bhat (keyboard), Nalingesh Achar (keyboard), Indu Shekhar and Raghunath (tabla), Raghavendra Prasad (drums), Gurudutt (rhythm pad) and Balasubramanya (flute) will accompany the performance. The entry is free.
